PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Learn and Grow is an afterschool, enrichment program funded by the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century CCLC Grant. We serve K-6th grade students from Rawhide, Rozet, Lakeview, Conestoga, Sunflower, Meadowlark, Wagonwheel and Hillcrest elementary schools, Private Schools and Home Schooled students.

We use STEAM programs with Project-Based Learning approaches. Our monthly themes and lessons are driven from student input-Voice and Choice.

Number of students served: 274 students

Student days attended: 16,624 participant days

Student hours in service: 5,607 hours

Service Sites

Conestoga, Lakeview, Wagonwheel, Hillcrest, Sunflower
Rawhide, Rozet, Stocktrail and Meadowlark – Students are bussed to a participating school site after school – parents notify the bus barn.
Home school and Private school students will be assigned a school of program attendance
Redemption Church (2801 Antler Road) or YES House (905 N Gurley) for non-school days: Notification will be sent to those signed up.

Hours of Operation:

Regular school days	3:30 p.m.- 6:45 p.m.
No school days (student vacations)	7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
Summer: Monday-Friday June 3^rd – August 9^th (no bussing to or from services)	7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.

* Any release for inclement weather at school sites will be observed * Evening meals are available for those staying after 6:00pm Learn and Grow 2024-2025 Vacation Days – NO SERVICE ON THESE DAYS
